Do you supervise trainees at the University of Ottawa?
The CNFS-Volet Université d’Ottawa offer a program for supervisors who work with students that are registered in CNFS designated programs at the University of Ottawa.
What is the program’s goal?
The program aims to highlight your contribution to the academic community by awarding you ECCUs (Equivalencies for contribution to colleges and universities) based on activities in which you choose to participate.
How do I collect ECCUs?
When you participate in supervisory and training activities, you may collect ECCUs. Click on the buttons below Form for obtaining ECCUs to complete the form!
Can I ask for ECCUs related to my previous activities?
Yes. You can request that activities in which you took part over the last five years be recognized by completing the form for obtaining ECCUS, thus gaining ECCUs retroactively.

The number of ECCUs collected allows you to obtain several privileges:
- Official title confirmed by a certificate
- Opportunity to receive a continuing education scholarship
- Opportunity to obtain a pass for the Conférence nationale sur la santé et le mieux-être hosted by the CNFS
- Participation in the Supervisor Recognition Evening
- Visibility on CNFS social media platforms
